Crisp blues, stark whites, creamy pastels…just because summer’s come to an end doesn’t mean we can’t bring its feeling into fall.
Or at least, that’s what I’ve been telling myself this week.
Maybe it’s because this summer was so unlike any other. Michael had to have foot surgery and was unable to walk on it at all for 7 weeks (he just started driving again). That and a large project I’m so ready to share with you have kept me indoors more than usual.
But I did get to go through my camera roll and edit—and delete—old photos, and the theme of “crisp blues, start whites, and creamy pastels” is no more evident than in these photos from our trip to Italy in 2022. I hope these give you inspiration as they’re practically bursting with color. I know for me, they immediately make me take a deep breath, wishing I was smelling the ocean breeze of Cinque Terre or the smell of fresh baked bread in Tuscany.
And that’s all for now. I hope to get back in a writing cadence soon.
Signing off yours,
Syd
So beautiful!!
